It’s been a busy month at Hale, as we have completed the handover of 20 new 2, 3 and 3-bedroom affordable homes to Cardiff Council. Situated at the Former Iorwerth Jones Homes for the Elderly, in Llanishen, the 2, 3, and 4-bedroom properties form part of the Council’s Housing Partnership Programme.

The development has been designed with a Fabric First approach. Consideration of the building’s air-tightness and U-value ensures maximum energy efficiency. Each of the homes has been fitted with Air Source Heat Pumps and Solar PV, contributing towards the development’s EPC A rating, whilst driving down carbon.
