In collaboration with Business Wales, Hale Group will be hosting a 'Meet the Buyer' procurement event on the 16th April, at Mountain Ash Golf Club.

The aim of the event is to meet with local suppliers and subcontractors who can support Hale in the delivery of a 48 unit Extra Care Home at Darran Road, Mountain Ash, for client, Linc Cymru.

 

The scheme centres around the provision of homes built through sustainable methods of construction, designed to enhance community living and wellbeing. Once complete, the Darran Road development will comprise of 8 Later Living Bungalows, along with a three-storey-building, housing 25 Extra Care Apartments and 15 Residential Beds specialising in Dementia Care; providing the future occupiers with independent living.

Situated in the Penarth area of Cardiff, the Myrtle Close Extra Care Scheme will feature 70 self-contained apartments, built over three-storeys. To support residents to live independent lives as their needs evolve, the scheme benefits from the security of 24-hour on site care.

 

Built over three storeys, the eco-friendly apartments are designed to be highly insulated and energy efficient to make running costs lower for the residents who will live there. Solar panels fitted to the roof  will generate power for the building.
