Hale are thrilled to share that Gwynfaen has been shortlisted for the following three categories at the upcoming Construction Excellence Wales Awards:

  • Sustainability Award, recognising pioneering schemes in the areas of carbon reduction, positive environmental impact, and making strides towards net zero.
  • Residential Project of the Year, recognising developments which centre around collaboration, sustainability, and high-quality construction delivery.
  • Building Project of the Year (above £5million), celebrating projects which incentivise the supply chain, incorporate the Building Safety Act, and demonstrate a strong commitment towards both sustainability and social value.

The scheme has been guided by the principles of the Welsh Future Generations Wales Act, balancing the need to live affordably and sustainably, within a vibrant community. Constructed for social housing provider, Codi; when complete, Gwynfaen will provide 144-ultra-low-carbon homes for the community of Swansea.

We are all incredibly proud to see Gwynfaen recognised for its forward‑thinking approach, and look forward to attending the awards on the 12th June.
