Employability

Working closely with our employability and training partners, we provide support into employment, through initiatives such as: Canva Workshops, CV Writing, Mock Interviews, Site Visits, Careers Fairs and Talks.
Work Experience
Out of work? Thinking about transitioning into construction but unsure where to start? We’ve got you covered.
For those wishing to gain a flavour of working within the construction industry, we regularly host work experience placements across our many sites. Paired with our expert trade sub-contractors, candidates receive full mentorship and guidance; providing them with the confidence to take the next step towards gaining employment or an apprenticeship.






Apprenticeships & Traineeships
For those already studying, or recently qualified, we offer a mix of short and longer-term apprenticeships and traineeships. We work closely with Cyfle’s Shared Apprenticeship Scheme; providing local host placements for apprentices across our sites. We also employ Trainees currently studying for their degrees/HND’s, alongside recent graduates; providing the right support needed to flourish within their chosen discipline.
Onward Progression
Our incredible team is made up of lots of individuals who have been at Hale since leaving school and have grown and developed in line with the business, alongside individuals from other sectors, who have transitioned into construction.
