Quantity Surveyor

Neath

J G Hale Group are a multi award winning Company delivering major construction projects ranging in value from £1mil to £25mil for Local Authorities, Housing Associations, and developers throughout Mid and South Wales. We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our busy Commercial team. Reporting to the Commercial Director, you will be working closely with the existing Quantity Surveyors, and other internal and external stakeholders (including but not limited to clients, suppliers, and subcontractors).

You will be required to carry out general Quantity Surveying on residential and commercial contracts, including:

Organising and monitoring sub-contract work packages
Preparing interim valuations and final accounts
Cost / Value Reporting to senior management
Liaising with clients and attending monthly project meetings
General cost reporting, value engineering and contract administration
Preparation of contractual claims where necessary

Applicant requirements:

HNC / Degree Level Qualification in Quantity Surveying
Experience in concrete framed structures
Proficient use of Microsoft Packages: Excel, PowerPoint and Word
Full UK Clean Drivers License
Previous experience in an similar role

We are offering an extremely competitive financial package depending on experience and skills. The role is full time and permanent, working 39 hours per week with flexibility on start and finish times (core hours 9.00am to 14.00pm) and with 33 days annual leave (pro rata and inclusive of bank holidays).
